From a Couch to a Company
Ergo was born in the middle of a high-growth startup’s chaos. While crashing on a friend’s couch, Ishan and Yash saw firsthand how much time sales teams wasted on repetitive administrative tasks. Instead of focusing on relationships and deals, they were bogged down by inefficiencies.
Determined to solve this, the duo built the first version of Ergo over a single weekend. It wasn’t perfect, but it proved a point—salespeople didn’t need more tools; they needed fewer roadblocks. That realization turned a weekend project into a full-fledged company, setting Ergo on a path to transform the sales process with AI.
